so is it legal to run a 4 link in modified stock?

actually as the rules state it says no suspension conversions. leaf stays leaf and etc.... 4 links are adjustable traction bars. traction bars were ran on mod trucks last year. i'm just making sure so i can set up my 632 with a 4 link for mod stock

four links are a suspension conversion, consisting of adujustable links that are connected to the axle and the suspension, commonly used with coil over shocks, adjustable (ladder bars) are entirely different, they are used in conjunction with the OEM suspension to improve traction. And no a TRUE four link is not legal in modified stock.

beg to differ 4 links are usable with leaf springs. the same way ladder bars are usable. no pan hard bar needed. it doesn't say a thing about any kind of traction control devices in the rules. just oem suspensions. so as long as i am running usable leaf springs i am legal. by the wording of the rules.

good luck with that and the OEM springs WITHOUT a floater . I'm sure the amount of time and money will be well spent, compared to a set of adjustable ladder bars or a center mount control bar

a "good" ladder bar set up can't used with out a "floater" set up any ways. but that is not the point of the matter. the point of the matter is as long as leaf are used as the suspension then ANY traction bar is legal. for mod stock atleast.
