License plates (again)

I sent an email to the address on the page too, but am hoping someone can tell me about this asap. I just bought this pickup about 2 weeks ago, so it's still in transit, I haven't switched the title or anything yet. I'd like to run it at Gothenburg in stock class and likely move up a class for next season. I wanted to know if it was OK to race it while in-transit with no plates? (it's nothing special, just an old farm pickup)

Gotta be legal to run down the highway. ie. current plates AND insurance, or VALID in-transit (no hand written) AND insurance.

Ok, I didn't buy it at a dealer, so I don't have a printed in transit sticker for it, so I'll leave it home.

Thanks for the reply

On a private sale you cant get intransits so if you bring title and sales tax form with insurance card it would be street legal to run.but you must have all 3 that are current less than 30 days old.

cjchevy's correct. Probably the easiest thing to do is go ahead and get your paperwork all taken care of though. Gotta get it done within 30 days anyway.
