IF I PUT AN LS ENGINE IN A 73-87 CHEVY HALF TON CAN I RUN TROPHY CLASS??IF SO I WILL GET IT DONE!

What type ignition and fuel system? I am thinking more like modified. Which LS were ya thinking?

5.3 v8 or 6.0 v8 both would be from 99-2011 chevrolet trucks

How bout a LSX , stroke it to 500 c.i and turn it 9500 rpm ?

the lsx is an aluminum block. the 6.0 liter truck engine is a steel block and headed engine the will accept an aliminum intake along with a distributor. they make kits to do this the only thing i'm not sure about is the type of intake made for these. i'm not sure if they make a regular dual plane or if it is an air gap or a single plane. but it does use a ford distributor when done like that.
