From the feedback we recieved from the suggestion box, our techs and those involved with the rules meeting, the consensus was that there was getting to be a few too many built trucks in our stock class. The intent of that class is to be daily driver trucks, thus the plates & insurance rule. Our intent with this rule as well as the new distribution of payouts across classes is that this will help encourage some of the guys with built trucks to move up a class.

I'd reccomend having it with you at every race. We might only randomly check for current plates and insurance or we might always check. Depends on whether we get in a bind for time and the number of trucks. But if you're asked to show it, you better have it or your out of luck.

This is a great idea to have plates and insurance! It still wont weed out the built trucks because it doesnt cost much at all to license and liability insure most of these old trucks. Also I did ask last year and got no response,is that I am a car dealer and do run dealer tags on all my vehicles what should I do?? Can some one give me an official decision,so I know weather to license it or not.

If what you have makes it legal to drive it down the street, you're ok.
