Tech Discretion

There have been some questions raised with regards to "Tech Discretion".
Our tech's have been very involved with our rules meetings and changes over the past couple of years, and are the ones who have to deal with some of the creative interpretations of our rules at Tech In. We consider them our experts and come race day, their interpretation of the rules for any class stands. Nobody understands the intent of our rules and classes better than them, and when questions are raised we try to discuss them amongst the group to provide a unanamous, clear and simple of an answer when possible.
We DO appreciate those who are taking the "when in doubt - ask first" approach. The intent of this section of the forum is to provide a public place to do exactly that. Please continue.
I'll try to do a better job of keeping this section of the forum cleaned up and limited to specific answers to your questions. Hopefully we can eliminate some of the cofussion caused by those who seem intent on creating it.
