Rules & Classes 2008

STOCK CLASS

• 33” or less – DOT Approved
• No Cutting or Grooving

Engine & Transmission:

• Must pull at least 17” of Vacuum at 1,000 RPM at the Intake Manifold
• No After Market or Performance Blocks Allowed
• Must have Factory Production Heads - No Aluminum Heads Allowed
• No Vacuum Pumps Allowed
• Must be Naturally Aspirated
• No Racing Fuel Allowed – No Nitrous or Alcohol
• No After Market Ignition Systems
• EFI Engines Must have Factory Programming – No Chips
• After-Market Fuel Injection Not Allowed
• Must have Full Exhaust Past the Rear End
• Intake Manifolds must be Dual-Plain - No Air-Gap Intakes
• Transmission Brakes Not Allowed

Body & Suspension:

• Must have Both Front and Rear Bumpers
• Must have all Lights in Working Order
• Must be Corporate Matching
• No more than 6” Total Lift
• No Gutting – No Cutting Fenders
• Must have Full Bench Seat or Two Bucket Seats
• Must have a Factory Box or a Flatbed that covers the same area as a Factory Box

Other:

• May have No More than One of these Three:
• Aluminum Intake
• Headers
• Lack of current plates and insurance

MODIFIED STOCK CLASS

Tires:

• 35” or less – DOT Approved
• No Cutting or Grooving

Engine & Transmission:

• Must Pull at least 17” of Vacuum at 1,000 RPM at the Intake Manifold
• No After Market or Performance Blocks Allowed
• Must have Factory Production Heads - No Aluminum Heads Allowed
• No Vacuum Pumps Allowed
• Must be Naturally Aspirated
• Racing Fuel Allowed – No Nitrous or Alcohol
• No After Market Ignition Systems
• After-Market Fuel Injection Not Allowed
• Headers Allowed
• Must have Full Exhaust Past the Rear End
• Intake Manifolds Must be Dual-Plain - No Air-Gap Intakes – Aluminum Intakes Allowed
• Transmission Brakes Not Allowed

Body & Suspension:

• Must have Both Front and Rear Bumpers
• Must have all Lights in Working Order
• Must be Corporate Matching

SUPER STOCK CLASS

Tires:

• 40” or less – DOT Approved
• No Cutting or Grooving

Engine & Transmission:

• Must pull at least 14” of Vacuum at 1,000 RPM at the Intake Manifold
• No Vacuum Pumps Allowed
• Must be Corporate Matching
• Must be Naturally Aspirated
• Racing Fuel Allowed – No Nitrous or Alcohol
• After Market Ignition Systems Allowed – No Remote Timing Modules
• After-Market Fuel Injection Not Allowed
• May run Open Headers – Vertical Exit Allowed
• Must run Single Carburetor
• Aluminum Heads Not Allowed
• Transmission Brakes Not Allowed
• Must run Transfer Case

Body & Suspension:

• Must have Front Bumper – Rear Bumper optional
• Must be Complete and Corporate Matching
• No Gutting - Trimming Fenders to Accommodate Larger Tires Allowed
• Must Have All Factory Glass - Bronco', Blazers, etc... May Have Top Removed
• Must have a Factory Box or a Flatbed that covers the same area as a factory box
• Single Race Seat Allowed
• Interior Dash Removal Allowed
• No Body Swaps (No small Pickup with V8 unless it was factory)
• Minimum 3-Leaf Rear Suspension
• No Suspension Conversions (Leaf Stays Leaf, Coil Stays Coil, Torsion Bar Stays Torsion Bar)

Additional Safety:

• Rear Drive Shaft Loop or Scatter Guards Required – No Chains

OPEN CLASS

• Must be Safe - Tech's Decision is Final ( Driveshaft Loops etc. )
• Any Tire Allowed
• No Nitrous or Alcohol

POWDER PUFF CLASS

• Any Vehicle that has been Tech Inspected and pulls at least 14” of Vacuum
• No drivers from Previous Classes

GENERAL RULES

• Head to Head – Double Elimination
• Individual Vehicles can run in No More Than 2 Classes
• Top 3 Winners from Each Class will be Impounded & Tech Inspected Post Race

SAFETY FOR ALL CLASSES

• Must be Safe in General – Tech’s Decision is Final
• Must Have DOT Helmet
• Must Have Working Seat Belts
• Must Have Drivers License
• No Driving While Intoxicated
• Must Have Front and Rear Tow Hooks or Chains
• Fuel Supply and Battery Must Be Bolted in Place
• All Brakes (Front and Rear) in Good Working Order
• Neutral/Clutch Safety Switches are required and will be checked
